Los Portales de Madeco is proud to provide the highest quality eco-friendly wood in the market. Australis® (Eucalyptus Saligna) is a hard and heavy, yet easy to work with, tree originating from Queensland and New South Wales, Australia, and is farmed in Brazil.

The Australis® tree is planted and farmed for no less than 35 years before harvesting and turning it to lumber, giving it enough time to mature into the hard, rich dark honey-colored hardwood that is highly sought after all over the world. Every tree that is harvested is replaced by a new tree. Thanks to this program, Los Portales de Madeco contributes to the re-forestation of the Amazon forest.
